ASTM A299 Grade B Pressure Vessel Steel

ASTM A299 Grade B is a manganese-silicon carbon steel plate used for welded boilers and pressure vessels, characterized by a minimum yield strength of around 310-325 MPa and a tensile strength of 550-690 MPa. It is produced in various thicknesses and widths, typically supplied in the as-rolled condition for plates 50mm and under, and normalized for plates over 50mm.
